Commercial plumbing contractor, Walla Walla, WA

About us

Cutting Edge Plumbing and Mechanical started from humble beginnings. The Knowles family grew up in farming, transitioned to conservation work, and then on to the construction industry. As a family, we worked together to put food on the table and working hard for every dollar was clearly understood.

CEPM History

cutting-edge-plumbing-and-mechanical-cepm-knowles-family-walla-walla-wa.jpg

Our father, Brent Knowles, purchased an existing plumbing company in 2003 in an effort to provide better opportunities for his sons and daughters. Today, all six of us siblings have the privilege of working together. As a family owned and run company, we started in residential and service. With a desire to grow our experience and team, we began to experiment in the commercial market. We plumbed restaurants, box stores, grocery stores, and many other small commercial buildings. As our vision grew, so did our project size. While we still have not achieved our "goal" of plumbing a project that has more than 10 floors, we have had the opportunity to work on some of the larger schools, hospitals, and universities in Washington State.

Even with our growing size, CEPM still represents a small family owned company. This is evident in our care and love for our team, our respect for the General Contractors who provide us work, and a commitment to our community to provide some of the best opportunity's possible in the workplace.

Jeremy Knowles, General Manager

Jeremy began working in the plumbing industry in 2003. As the GM, he has a passion to create a culture in the company that makes every team member want to be the best they can be. He truly believes that leadership is not about being the best, but having the ability to make everyone else better. Patrick Lencioni has been a huge help in providing the much-needed steppingstones to run CEPM. Jeremy attributes the success of Cutting Edge to his amazing team and God’s abundant Grace.

Jeremy spends all his extra time with his family. It might be boating, swimming, shooting guns, or dancing, but one thing you can count on is his wife Amber being close by his side.
